Welcome to NMPMA Chapter #10

The National Montford Point Marine Association, Inc. is a nonprofit Veterans organization, established to perpetuate the legacy of the first African Americans who entered the United States Marine Corps from 1942 to 1949, at Montford Point Camp, New River, North Carolina.

National Montford Point Marine Association, Inc. also consists of an Auxiliary. Membership in the Auxiliary is open to immediate family member of NMPMA members or former members of the United States Armed Forces.

The purpose of the Association is to support educational assistance programs, veterans programs, and promotion of community services. Throughout the year, the Association is busy with activities that create camaraderie, goodwill, and esprit de corps, both locally and nationally.

The Camp Lejeune Chapter was chartered October 28, 1974. The chapter’s function includes activities geared towards the social betterment of our communities and enlightenment of our citizenry.

The Chapter actively participates, supports, and promotes activities which are designed to make the lives of former members of the Military and Naval Services, their wives, and their dependents, free from poverty, adversity, and the uplifting of morale of our Disabled Veterans.

The sponsorship of scholarship funds for worthy and needy youths at our local colleges, and support the Montford Point Marine Association National Scholarship Program.



Meetings

The monthly membership meeting is held every 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:00 p.m.

​The Executive board meeting is held every 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm.
